Proposed Detachment and Annexation Between Rogers and Cave Springs Under Consideration

A proposed detachment and annexation agreement between the City of Rogers and the City of Cave Springs is currently under consideration, necessitating legislative action from both municipal councils. Initial ordinances have been passed by both cities: Rogers City Council Ordinance 24-17 and Cave Springs City Council Ordinance 2024-04.


To facilitate public discourse and engagement, an in-person public hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. The hearing will take place at Rogers City Hall, located at 301 W. Chestnut St., Rogers, Arkansas. Specifically, this session will address Cave Springs Ordinance No. 2024-04, which proposes the simultaneous detachment and annexation of lands currently situated in Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas.
