Fayetteville Strawberry Festival Brings Street Closures

Fayetteville, May 19, 2024 - Downtown Fayetteville will be abuzz with excitement as the annual Strawberry Festival kicks off this weekend. However, residents and commuters should be aware of street closures in the area to accommodate the festivities.

Beginning at 8:00 am, several thoroughfares will be closed to vehicular traffic. The Downtown Square will be off-limits to vehicles, as well as portions of Block Avenue from Center Street to Spring Street, and Meadow Street from East Avenue to Church Avenue.

These closures are necessary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of festival attendees. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and exercise caution when navigating the area during the closure period.

The festival officially begins at 12:00 pm and is slated to continue until 8:00 pm. Following the conclusion of the event, the closed streets will reopen to regular traffic.

For more information on street closures and a detailed site map, please refer to the 'Additional Info' section provided by festival organizers.

Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to join in the festivities and celebrate all things strawberry at the Fayetteville Strawberry Festival.
